For over 20 years, the Hood Family has been preparing and catering home cooked meals, with an emphasis on BBQ, for Southern Chester County and its surrounding communities. As of August 2006, the Hoods established Hood's BBQ and nestled into the historically scenic area of downtown Unionville, Pennsylvania. Since arriving, they have emphasized the importance of providing customers with a clean and friendly atmosphere in which they can enjoy consistently good home cooked food.
Hood's BBQ specializes in BBQ Pulled Pork and features their signature sandwich, "The Hoodie" on the menu which is available every day. On the weekends, they prepare bone-in BBQ Chicken Halves, Smoked Beef Brisket, Baby Back Pork Ribs, and Prime Rib sandwiches. Also offered is a wide variety of hot and cold deli style sandwiches served on freshly baked rolls or bread, homemade side salads, and baked goods, as well as breakfast sandwiches and platters served all day.
